The Manfrotto 425B Mega Boom is the largest boom in its series. It allows smooth pan, tilt, rotation, and telescopic extension via geared crank handles. This two-section boom extends up to 12 feet. It can hold 13.23 lb when fully extended and 66.14 lb at its shortest. It features Junior (1 1/8") and Baby (5/8") connections and includes an empty counterweight bag. The geared tilt system adjusts from +30 to -40°. For safety, it comes with a counterbalancing sandbag that can hold up to 77 lb. Made from black zinc steel and black anodized aluminum.
